| Abstract | In 2005, a team of nursing researchers published the results of an innovative collaborative project to determine to what extent members of the 3 regulated nursing professions perceived themselves to be "working to scope." This research revealed substantial role confusion within nursing and between nursing and other professional groups employed in acute care settings. |
